These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the veatrice email verification API and website (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

The Service

veatrice verifies email addresses and returns a deliverability verdict and a human-or-agent signal. Results are best-effort estimates, not guarantees of deliverability or of any address's nature.

You agree not to use the Service to:

Billing

The Service uses prepaid credits. Payments are processed by Creem, our Merchant of Record, who handles billing, tax, and payment compliance. You are charged only for a successful, conclusive verification — inconclusive checks are not billed. Credits are non-transferable.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, veatrice's total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the three months preceding the claim. veatrice is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
